This is SOOO exciting I just had to share! I just got home from our annual coach summit where Beachbody announced the release of a brand new cleanse called the 3 Day Refresh! Mine is in the mail and I am SO EXCITED to receive it within the next few days and then be able to share a review of the product with YOU! My plan is to jump start my body and cleanse any toxins out before I begin our brand new PIYO workout on July 7th! Review on that to follow too!
What is the 3 Day Refresh?
The 3-Day Refresh is designed for people who are looking for a fast, clean way to lose a few pounds quickly but also help break bad eating habits. This is a constant request. So many of us want a safe, easy, GENTLE cleanse that can help boost energy, clean our system, and get us moving forward again in a SAFE manner but when we go looking for solutions all we find are way to starve our bodies or take magic pills that claim to “shrink your fat cells”.
If you want my honest opinion, I think this product is GENIUS! It is a gentle cleanse consisting of three daily shakes, a fiber drink, plenty of filtered water, plus a wide array of fruits, veggies and healthy fats throughout the day to keep your energy up and your metabolism going. It is a low calorie cleanse but packs a powerful punch with a daily dose of dense nutrition that you are getting from Shakeology, a Fiber Sweep drink and a Vanilla Fresh Protein Shake each day. Plus you will add in fresh wholesome fruits and vegetables to keep you satisfied, longer! How great is that? I will the be first to admit I get very cranky when I’m an hungry so a cleanse where I can stay satisfied for longer periods of time sounds AWESOME!
3 Day Refresh Meal Plan:
This plan is simple and with its’ simplicity, you are presented with several alternatives on preparing your meals, which will help show you there is a way to enjoy eating healthy food without having to “dress” it up in ways that can damage your health and undermine your weight-loss goals.
Here is what a typical day is like during the 3 Day Refresh:
1.) Wake up: Drink 8-12oz of filtered water
2.) Breakfast: Eat within an hour of waking up: Shakeology along with Fruit.
3.) Mid-Morning: Drink your Fiber Sweep which is a safe, all natural digestive health drink. It contains flax seeds, chia seed and psyllium seed husk which promotes healthy digestion.
4.) Lunch: Drink your Vanilla Fresh which is a high-protein (20g), multi-nutrient and mineral, hunger-satisfying shake plus options from your fruit, vegetable and healthy fats lists of foods.
5.) Afternoon Snack: Eat something from your fruit, vegetable or juice options list.
6.) Dinner: Drink you 2nd Vanilla Fresh plus a delicious meal from the dinner recipes lists (provided in your program)
3 Day Refresh Expectations:
Before you begin the Refresh: If you are one who isn’t used to eating fresh fruit and vegetables daily, it is recommended that you begin incorporating them into your daily diet for about a week prior to doing the cleanse. At the same time, phase out things like coffee, alcohol and animal proteins. It’s extremely helpful to clear your fridge and pantry of any tempting foods so you can stick to the program easier.
During the Refresh: You’ll notice shifts in your energy levels, mental clarity, complexion, cravings for certain foods may disappear and digestion will be improved. All of this is normal and temporary while doing a cleanse.
Following the Refresh: You can expect improved digestion, energy and some weight-loss. The purpose of this program is to put you on the right path towards better overall health! It is intended to give you a break from poor eating habits and/or jump start healthy ones. After completing the program, you may feel lighter and healthier overall.
